Regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of odd months, January, March, May, July, September and November at 6p.m. on the ground floor of the 1885 Eaton County Courthouse located at 100 W. Lawrence Ave., Charlotte MI 48813. The public is always welcome.
Book Workshops are held as needed at the same location.
Cemetery Tours: The commission generally holds two cemetery tours a year. The Maple Hill Tour is on the first Sunday in October at 2 p.m. and is located at 801 Tully Brown Dr., Charlotte MI 48813. A second tour will be conducted at the Dimondale Cemetery on June 14, 2026. You will find more information on our Facebook page at “Eaton County Historical Commission”.
Heritage Conference: The commission holds a fall Heritage Conference every year to promote the outstanding history of Eaton County. Date to be announced soon!
ECHC Grant requests are due on May 1st.
Heritage Award Nominations are due on April 15th
